Disabling a key for a field in Peoplesoft

Hi Jim,
i tried to implement AJAX in Peoplesoft by following the steps mentioned on ur blog.
But it did not work. Actually i want to develop mousemove over functionality.
The hover text will be dynamic.
i also need to develop a functionality wherein a particular key would be disabled for
editbox.
